Typically, an outdoor enclosure may weigh just 60 pounds. These probably won't require heavy duty equipment to mount to walls. On the other hand, outdoor weatherproof TVs are heavy because they must contain extra cooling equipment and additional ventilation. An average TV of this type may weigh in the neighborhood of 70 pounds and require special heavy duty mounting equipment for attaching it to walls.
Performance
TV enclosures can be purchased with anti-glare options. However, radiation and heat from the sun inside the enclosure seem to affect the quality of the picture.
